Veteran Maddison
We’re thrilled to welcome back the incredible Maddison Gay for another year of amazing performances!
Maddison’s journey in the performing arts began with Physical Culture, transitioned to Rhythmic Gymnastics, and eventually led her to discover her true passion in dance. Starting with ballet and jazz at the age of 8 in a small Australian town, she soon expanded her skills to hip hop and various other dance styles.
Upon moving to New Zealand, Maddison continued to excel in hip hop and contemporary dance. She has competed in numerous competitions with hip hop crews and showcased her talent in many dance shows and productions.
At university, Maddison’s love for dance brought her to the Otago Dance Association, where she has been an integral member for the past three years. Currently, she’s the choreographer and director of the ODA Hip Hop performance troupe for the second consecutive year.
When the opportunity arose to audition for Otago Dancers, Maddison couldn’t resist. After an amazing experience last year, she knew she had to be part of this incredible group again.
Join us in celebrating Maddison’s return and look forward to another year of breathtaking performances!
