Safera Wintrup
We’re thrilled to introduce Safera, now in her 2nd year with us!
Safera brings a wealth of experience and passion to the team. Currently dancing at the renowned Rasa School of Dance , she has an impressive 10-year background in Hip Hop, excelling in exams and achieving high marks . This is her second year diving into the realms of Contemporary and Jazz, showcasing her versatility and dedication.
She’s no stranger to the competitive scene, having competed nationally in Hip Hop crews & duos for 9 years . Safera has also made her mark as a coach, guiding competitive school crews for 4 years and duos for 2 years . And that’s not all – she’s also a talented teacher at Rasa School of Dance, inspiring the next generation of dancers .
We’re excited to see Safera’s journey unfold this year. Stay tuned for more amazing performances and achievements!
FUN FACTS about Saf!
Originally, a few of my teachers and mentors were members of the team. I remember watching them train their performance routines and talk about their experiences, and it sounded like the coolest opportunity. I knew straight away it was something I wanted to be a part of!! Last year was my first year joining the Team, and I had so much fun. The vibes were too good to not come back for a second year of partying with everyone!
I received a top-tier award with a high distinction for my Urban Ignition exams, placing me top in Australasia. A proud moment was also being nominated for the NZAMD National Scholarship awards.
