Danielle

After taking a year off, Danielle has returned for her 3rd year with us, bringing even more passion and inspiration!

 
Danielle has been a vibrant part of the RASA family since 2008, excelling in NZAMD, Urban Ignition, and RBM syllabi, and earning solo seals in both NZAMD & Urban Ignition. As a dedicated teacher since 2015, she’s inspired advanced adults and top competitive crews. Her journey has taken her to Auckland for advanced training, leading to international competition at HHI Worlds in 2017. With a Bachelor of Performing Arts and a Masters of Teaching, she has choreographed award-winning performances and led Allies to national recognition. As an Otago Dancer since 2021, Danielle’s commitment and passion continue to shine, inspiring us all!


Currently, Danielle is directing the musical “Legally Blonde” for Otago Boys and Otago Girls, showcasing her versatile talent in both dance and theater.

I wanted to come back to Otago Dancers because I love performing and being a student for once!

Before starting dance, I was painfully shy. Dance has transformed me into an outgoing and confident person, and I don’t know where I’d be without it!
